This DB4 is chassis DB4/882/L, the car Aston Martin chose to show at the 1962 New York International Auto Show. It is one of 185 Series IV cars built and one of only 65 made in left-hand drive. It has overdrive, electric windows and a Motorola radio. Its Rose Beige paint is thought by some Aston Martin historians to be unique to this car.
It spent its early life on the US East Coast. The first owner was New York philanthropist Lindley Paskus, and later owners were mostly Aston Martin Owners Club members. The history file records Lime Rock Concours and Sprint appearances, where the car won several awards. It also records servicing by Aston Martin Lagonda in New Rochelle and by Steel Wings, including a cylinder head rebuild.
The car is now UK-registered and keeps its matching-numbers engine. It passed an MOT in October 2025 with no advisories, and about £71,000 has recently been spent on servicing and maintenance. A February 2025 Aston Martin Heritage Trust report calls it highly original, and one specialist says the chassis has never been welded. It comes with a tool roll, the original Bevelift jack, the V5, the owner's handbook and the history file. The interior is red leather.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Aston Martin's period-claimed figures for the standard (non-Vantage) car: 240 bhp gross from the 3670cc twin-SU straight-six. Weight, top speed and 0-60 left null because the factory figures can't be confirmed.).
