The DB4 GT was Aston Martin's lightweight, competition-minded take on the DB4, shown at the 1959 London Motor Show. The wheelbase was cut by five inches and the body was clad in thin aluminium panels. Power comes from the 3,670cc twin-cam straight-six with triple Weber carburettors, driving through a four-speed David Brown gearbox. Only 75 were built, which puts this car among the most sought-after of the early Aston Martin GTs.
First registered in 1960, this car still wears its original plate, 5 SPK. It has been used actively through its life, with successive owners taking it to Aston Martin Owners Club events. The previous owner commissioned a body-off restoration in 2015, led by Post Vintage Engineering (now Adrian Johnson's) with Bodylines and Spraytech, returning it to its 1960 specification in Snow Shadow Grey.
The car shows 7,313 miles and comes with a history file of restoration invoices, documents and records of its event and competition use. The restoration is described as photographically documented. The price is on application.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Aston Martin period factory claims for the DB4 GT (302 bhp, 3,670 cc twin-plug straight-six). Weight, top speed and 0-60 are omitted because no confirmed factory figures were available.).
