The DB MkIII was the last of the Feltham-built DB2 family, and this 1959 car comes from its final year of production. The MkIII brought a smoother, less angular bonnet and a redesigned instrument binnacle, along with an improved engine with larger oil galleries and a revised cylinder head. In twin-exhaust form that meant 178 bhp.
This example is finished in Snow Shadow grey, described as its original colour, over a dark blue hide interior. It sits on 72-spoke wire wheels painted dark blue, of the type used on the DB4. It has the overdrive that makes the car usable on modern roads, allowing 80 mph at around 3,000 rpm.
The page reports considerable money spent over the years, including a complete engine rebuild and bulkhead detailing, with photographic records. The dealer describes it as driving well with no apparent faults. No mileage is stated; the page's figure of 0 is a placeholder and not an odometer reading.
