1967 Alfa Romeo Giulia GT Veloce
£79,990
About this car
A 1967 Giulia Sprint GT Veloce, the 1600 version that paired the Bertone-styled coupe with the twin-carburettor twin-cam four and a five-speed gearbox. This left-hand-drive example was first delivered to Italy and has been UK-registered since 2002. It is a matching-numbers car finished in Verde Muschio over Cuoio leather, and the page shows 39,000 km.
The restoration is thorough. MGS Coachworks took the car back to bare metal, the engine was rebuilt using Alfaholics components, and O'Rourke Coachtrimmers retrimmed the interior. The Alfaholics influence carries through to the chassis, with fast-road suspension and 14-inch GTA-style wheels. Period touches remain: a wooden-rimmed steering wheel, a period-correct radio and a stainless-steel exhaust.
A file of invoices accompanies the car. Alfaholics is the best-known name in Giulia upgrades, so this is a restored classic with sorted handling and driveability, not a museum piece. It should suit someone who wants to drive it regularly.
