This is one of the most historically significant Alfa Romeos of the pre-war era: the 6C 1750 GS Testa Fissa that Tazio Nuvolari drove to victory in the 1930 Tourist Trophy in Northern Ireland, wearing race number 10. The page says only about twelve cars to Testa Fissa specification are believed to have been built.
After the race the factory kept the fixed-head racing engine and fitted a standard detachable-head unit. The car was then given a two-seater James Young drophead body and shown at the October 1930 London Motor Show. Early owners included Prince Aly Khan and Whitney Straight. It then passed through a series of private hands, including 27 years with the Halladay family from 1968.
The restoration was done in Italy. A new body was built to replicate the original Hoyal race body, using the original front-end parts and a red finish deduced from a period Autocar painting. The Testa Fissa engine was rebuilt in 2011 with a newly cast head and produced 102 hp on the test bench. The crankcase, gearbox, differential, axles and supercharger are said to be original to the car. Alfa historian Angela Cherrett verified its authenticity. It has a four-speed manual gearbox and mechanical drum brakes, and is currently kept near the Swiss side of Lake Constance.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Only the basic engine layout is listed (1752cc supercharged twin-cam straight-six, front-engined, RWD, built in Italy). I couldn't confirm factory performance or weight figures for the works fixed-head (Testa Fissa) racing version, so those are null.).
