Listed today at Mayfair Prestige, London. Last checked today.
This is not a factory AC but a Southern Roadcraft V8 replica of the Cobra, built by one owner over twelve years. Work began in 1991 and finished in 2003, and the car carries a Q-prefix registration, as is usual for self-built cars of uncertain age. The dealer dates it to 1997.
Power comes from a 5.8-litre Ford 351 Windsor V8 driving the rear wheels through a Borg Warner T5 five-speed manual, the classic Cobra recipe. It is finished in Rover Nightfire Red with Rolls-Royce Willow Gold stripes, and the glovebox door is said to be signed by Carroll Shelby.
The car has covered about 6,000 miles since completion and was featured in Which Kit Car magazine in August 2005. The builder kept it until 2023, and the listing refers to an extensive history file.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (UK kit-built Cobra replica by Southern Roadcraft, not an AC Cars product. Engine, power and weight depend on the individual build, and no factory figures are known, so performance fields are null.).
