This AC Cobra Mk V dates from 2007, the year the Malta factory closed. It is one of only three right-hand-drive cars built there with a carbon fibre body, which makes it far lighter than the usual Cobra and a rare find even within AC's own production.
Power comes from a 5.0-litre Ford V8 producing 340 bhp, helped by a Mass-Flo fuel injection upgrade. It also has a remapped ECU, a side-exit racing exhaust, a five-speed Tremec manual gearbox, a limited-slip differential and lowered suspension. Toyo Proxes T1R tyres are fitted. The dealer says more than £10,000 has been spent on these upgrades.
It is finished in Windsor Red with white stripes and has covered just 6,700 miles from new. Price is on application.
