2014 Abarth 595 50th Anniversario

Abarth built just 299 examples of the 595 50th Anniversario to mark half a century since the original 595 debuted at the 1963 Turin Motor Show, and only 50 of them came to the UK. This is one of those 50, and it carries the full commemorative treatment: a three-layer matt pearlescent Bianco Iridato finish, Rosso Abarth Anniversario livery, Rosso-painted Brembo calipers and 17-inch Magnesio alloys with a red pinstripe. Heritage Abarth badging nods to the original car.

Under the bonnet is the 1.4-litre turbocharged four, tuned to 180 bhp, making it the most powerful 595 offered at its 2014 launch. It is paired with a Record Monza dual-mode exhaust, and power goes through the Competizione automatic gearbox with steering-wheel paddles. Inside, Rosso and Bianco leather is joined by automatic climate control and a glass slide/tilt sunroof.

This example has covered only 4,000 miles from new and has had a single owner throughout. Low use and a limited-run, factory-specified colour scheme make it a well-preserved example of a small, collectable Abarth.
