1965 Austin-Healey 3000 Mk III
£95,000(estimated - POA)
About this car
This 1965 Austin-Healey 3000 Mk III is the last and most refined of the Big Healeys. It has the 3.0-litre straight-six in its most developed form, plus a wood-trimmed dash and wind-up windows, which gave the car some GT-style comfort. This one is finished in Healey Gold Metallic over a Red Premium Autolux hide interior, with red wool carpet.
The car has been fully restored and has covered just 650 miles since the work was completed. The engine was rebuilt by VSE to fast road specification, so it should offer more performance than a standard Mk III. It has also been maintained recently by Rawles Motorsport.
The specification is period-correct and practical for road use. It has overdrive on the manual gearbox, wire wheels, an adjustable steering column and a heating system. Price is on application.
