Volkswagen Beetle Last Edition

The Last Edition Beetle was a special run for the UK market, and this one is individually numbered: plaque no. 111 sits on the dash. It wears Diamond Silver Metallic, a colour specific to the model, with Marine Blue corded velour inside and steel wheels with polished hubcaps.

It shows 9,779 miles from first supply in January 1978. The 1,192cc air-cooled flat-four makes 34 bhp and drives through a four-speed manual gearbox. The paint is presentable but not flawless, and the engine bay is unrestored and tidy. The car had a sympathetic refresh between 2011 and 2013.
