Volkswagen Beetle 1300 De Luxe

This 1971 Volkswagen Beetle 1300 De Luxe is a UK right-hand-drive car finished in its original Clementine orange, with black basketweave vinyl seats. The 1285cc flat-four makes 44 bhp and drives through a four-speed manual gearbox.

Its 45,858 miles are backed by a thick file. It has had five registered keepers since April 1971 and comes with the original bill of sale, which shows a price of £970.07. The original service book carries nine dealer stamps up to 21,000 miles. MOT certificates go back to 1974, and there are old tax discs and photos from a 2006 restoration. A clean HPI report confirms it has never been written off or had a colour change.

The paint is described as deep, with a few minor blemishes. The chrome shows only light patination, and the seats are barely worn. It has a recent service and an MOT with no advisories. The MOT expiry is given as May 2025.
