Triumph TR6 150 PI

This is a UK-market Triumph TR6 in 150 bhp fuel-injected form, a matching-numbers car with its original engine and an overdrive gearbox. Supplied new through Stevenson Motors of Tunbridge Wells, it retains its original passport to service booklet, which records nine services in its first three years.

The history is well documented. A Sussex owner from 2000 to 2009 had the car restored, with new floor pans and outriggers, a repaint, retrimmed interior, and a mechanical rebuild that included a stripped and rebuilt engine, new clutch hydraulics, uprated cooling and a sports exhaust. A Leeds owner then kept it from 2009, covering over 8,000 miles including European touring, and spent around £4,500 on injectors, electronic ignition, fuel pump and a rebuilt cylinder head.

The dealer sold the car in 2019 and it returned after the owner's death, having covered only 70 miles since. It has had its brakes and hydraulics recommissioned and a service after long-term storage. It is described as a touring car rather than a show car, with some minor paintwork blemishes but no serious corrosion and a clean underside.
