Subaru Impreza WRX STI tS Type RA NBR Challenge

The tS Type RA NBR Challenge is one of the rarer Japanese-market STIs of the GVB generation. Subaru Tecnica International built it to mark class wins at the Nürburgring 24 Hours in 2011 and 2012. Only 300 Type RA cars were made, and just 200 of them got the NBR Challenge package. This one is reported to be one of 69 in Tangerine Orange Pearl.

The focus was on handling rather than power. The car has STI-tuned suspension, extra chassis bracing, a quicker steering rack, Brembo brakes (six-pot front, two-pot rear), forged 18-inch BBS wheels, Recaro front seats and a large carbon rear spoiler. The 2.0-litre turbocharged EJ20 flat-four is rated at 308 PS and drives all four wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox. Tein coilovers have been fitted since.

It is a September 2013 car with 55,075 km (34,222 miles) and a Japanese auction grade of 4.5/B. The page says it has its original factory paintwork and Japanese manuals and supporting documents. It is still on its way from Japan and can be reserved with a deposit before it arrives.
