Subaru Impreza WRX STI Spec C Type RA

The Spec C Type RA is the most single-minded Hawkeye-era Impreza: a lightweight, homologation-flavoured take on the STI, reportedly built in only around 350 examples. It uses the EJ207 engine with ported and polished heads and a VF36 ball-bearing turbo, paired with a close-ratio six-speed manual, a shorter final drive, front and rear mechanical limited-slip differentials and a driver-controlled centre differential.

Weight was cut with thinner glass, less sound deadening, a lighter battery, minimal interior trim and no rear wiper. Underneath are stiffer springs and dampers, 17-inch lightweight alloys and Brembo brakes with four-pot calipers at the front and two-pot at the rear.

This car was first registered on 5 June 2005 and has covered 94,000 miles. The page lists it as one owner from new and HPI clear. Viewing is by appointment.
