The Silver Wraith II was the long-wheelbase version of the Silver Shadow II, built from 1977 to 1980 for owners who expected to be driven. This 1977 car is one of just 128 of the 2,135 produced to be fitted with the factory electric glass division, a rare specification for the model.
It was first ordered through Jack Barclay by the financier Sir Charles Clore as a replacement for his Phantom VI, and later passed through the hands of Saudi businessman Kamal Adham. The rear compartment has independent air conditioning, a separate radio, armrests with hinged lids and reading lights. It has been in private ownership since 2006.
The car is finished in Oxford Blue with double white fine lines and a black Everflex roof. Inside are dark blue leather with magnolia piping and dark blue carpets, with lambswool over-rugs. The 6.75-litre V8 drives through a three-speed automatic gearbox. The displayed mileage is 16,749. Specialist service history is noted: Axtell of Bramley looked after it first, and the selling dealer has since 2021.
