Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II

The Silver Shadow II arrived in 1977 with rack-and-pinion steering and revised suspension, and it is generally regarded as the more satisfying of the two Shadow generations to drive. This 1979 car is finished in honey gold over walnut, with stone-coloured leather inside.

It has covered about 41,000 miles from new, and the dealer says it was used very sparingly by its current owner, who is approaching 90. The paint and the leather are both described as in good order for the mileage. The original lambswool overmats and the rear passengers' individual footrests are still in place.

The car comes with its original books and manuals, and the tool kit and spare bulb pack are in the boot. The service history file can't be found, but the car has been maintained by North's garage of Lane End, which has traded since 1923. The air conditioning is said to blow cold and the heating to work.
