Listed today at Frank Dale, Sandhurst.
This 1934 Rolls-Royce 20/25, chassis GWE67, carries three-position drophead coupe coachwork by H.J. Mulliner. Build records describe it as designed mainly for fast touring. It was supplied new by Jack Barclay to Maxwell Morris of Regent Street, London, and was originally finished in pale grey with a light fabric roof. It is now black with red leather and right-hand drive.
The car changed hands four times in the UK between 1935 and 1953, then went to the USA in 1966. There it was restored to concours standard in the 1990s at a reported cost of around $200,000. It won Best Pre-War Car at the 1994 RROC Rally in Philadelphia.
Frank Dale sold it in 2008, and the current owner bought it in 2017. Since then it has been maintained by specialists including Fiennes and A&S Engineering, and an overdrive has been added to allow higher cruising speeds. A detailed history file, chassis cards, restoration records and a tool kit in the boot come with it. The listing shows it as sold.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Rolls-Royce chassis specification (3,699 cc OHV straight-six, Derby-built). Rolls-Royce never published power output, and weight and performance depended on the H.J. Mulliner coachwork, so no official figures exist for those.).
