This 1934 Rolls-Royce 20/25 wears Gurney Nutting sedanca coachwork, the style in which the roof above the front seats opens while the rear stays covered. The body is the one fitted when the car was new, and the first owner is recorded as Mr J Sainsbury of Park Lane, Mayfair. Twin occasional seats fold out of the bulkhead, so it seats seven.
It comes from a large American collection of mainly pre-war British cars, and before that belonged to Dr Michael Jacobelli, a well-known Rolls-Royce concours judge. The paint has recently been redone in cream over Prussian blue. The rear compartment has been retrimmed in a heavy patterned brocade, and the interior woodwork has been removed and refinished.
The dealer describes the engine as strong, and says the car starts readily and the one-shot chassis lubrication system works. The engine bay is said to be original, down to the Bakelite mushroom-style coil holder. Externally it has twin side-mounted spare wheels, twin trumpet horns, a centre-mounted spot lamp and a chrome strip running along the body. It is registered in Tennessee, with UK registration applied for. No mileage is given, and the price is marked as accepted.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Rolls-Royce 20/25 chassis specification (3,699 cc OHV straight-six); Rolls-Royce did not publish power output, and weight and performance varied with the Gurney Nutting coachwork, so these are left null).
£75,000 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
