Renault Mégane Trophy R

The Trophy R is the Mégane Renault Sport built to take the front-wheel-drive lap record at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, which it did in June 2014 with a time of 7min 54sec. Based on the 275 Trophy, it lost around 100kg through the removal of the rear seats, rear wiper and most of the sound deadening, and gained Recaro bucket seats, 19-inch Speedline wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres. Only 30 were supplied to the UK.

This right-hand-drive car is finished in black with the red decals, wheels and calipers of the Trophy R, and is fitted with the RS Monitor option. It has covered just 804 miles, and the V5 lists no previous owners. The paintwork is said to be original, with only slight discolouration to the red decals noted.

Service history shows a cambelt and tyre change on 30 October 2023 at 802 miles, with Pilot Sport 5 tyres fitted that October. MOT records run from 664 miles in 2019 through 775 in 2022 and 802 in October 2023, and the car is offered with a fresh MOT on sale. It was stored for much of its life and has had limited, dry-weather use.
