The Cayman R was the lightest and sharpest of the 987 generation, with 9bhp more than the Cayman S and around 55kg less weight. The savings came from aluminium door skins, lightweight Boxster Spyder wheels, and lighter bucket seats. The car was also sold without air conditioning as standard. This one is a PDK car in Peridot Green Metallic, the colour the Cayman R launched in. The dealer believes it is one of 250 UK-market cars and one of 44 in this colour.

It was first registered in the UK on 29 September 2011 and has covered 36,970 miles. Options include the Sports Chrono Plus package, sports exhaust, a 40% locking differential, navigation, climate control and Alcantara and leather heated bucket seats. The interior also has painted trim panels.
