Porsche Cayman R

The Cayman R was the sharpest of the 987.2 generation, with a 330 bhp 3.4-litre flat-six, a weight saving of roughly 55kg over the Cayman S and 20mm lower passive suspension. This one has the six-speed manual, which many enthusiasts prefer to the PDK, and it was supplied new by Porsche Centre Guildford.

The specification is well chosen: Guards Red paint, black-painted 19-inch Spyder wheels, lightweight carbon-backed bucket seats taken from the 918, a short shift gear selector, the switchable sports exhaust, Sports Chrono and a 40% rear differential. The car has covered about 55,000 miles.

It has had two former keepers and a service record from new, with entries every two years or so from Porsche Centres at Guildford and Solihull, then the selling dealer. The page also notes an ECU check showing very little time spent in the first rev range and none in the higher ones.
