The 959 was Porsche's Group B-inspired technology showcase, with sequential twin-turbocharging and an electronically managed four-wheel-drive system. Of 337 built, 272 were Komfort cars, which pair the full 444 bhp output with a leather interior and air conditioning.
This left-hand-drive example was delivered new to Stockholm in October 1988 and is finished in Guards Red. It later passed to a single long-term owner in Berlin, who covered more than 50,000 km and had it serviced regularly at Porsche Centre Berlin. It then spent time in Japan, looked after by Porsche Centre Meguro and the specialist Proslink, before returning to Europe.
Recent history includes a major service at Porsche Centre Reading in December 2023, and work at DK Engineering in January 2024 covering wastegate repair, shock absorber maintenance and an actuator overhaul. The last recorded service reading is 62,565 km. The dealer describes the car as in genuine, authentic condition. It is currently under offer, and the page gives no price.
