This 1972 Porsche 914/6 is the last of just 11 cars officially imported into the UK, and it has covered only 19,143 miles from new. The 914/6 paired the mid-engined 914 chassis with Porsche's flat-six, making it the rarest and most sought-after version of the model. This one is finished in Blood Orange over black and is left-hand drive.
It was supplied new by Motortune of Chelsea, which took it back in part exchange in 1979 at 16,409 miles. The then Motortune director kept it until 2014, when it passed to the current Porsche collector. Ownership is believed to be four keepers in total, and the car is said to be unrestored and on its first paint, with some stone chips to the nose.
It was recommissioned in 2014 by Kevin Clarke, the Porsche GB 914/6 registrar, who has maintained it since and will service it on sale. The history file includes a 1994 Porsche letter calling it the world's best example, the original service and maintenance books, owner's manual, dealer list, tools, jack and two keys. A journey log has been kept since April 2015.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Porsche factory specs for the 914/6: 110 PS DIN (about 108 bhp), 201 km/h, 940 kg. Porsche published 0-100 km/h only, so 0-60 is null.).
