Porsche 918 Spyder

The 918 Spyder is Porsche's plug-in hybrid halo car, limited to 918 units worldwide. It pairs a 4.6-litre naturally aspirated V8 with two electric motors for a combined 887 bhp, and it posted a sub-seven-minute Nürburgring lap on debut. Quoted performance is 0-62 mph in 2.5 seconds and a 214 mph top speed. This one is UK supplied and has covered 10,100 miles.

The colour is what sets it apart. It is finished in Liquid Metal Silver, a nine-layer paint that cost €48,000 as an option, over Onyx Black leather with silver piping. Silver accent stripes on the seat belts and a key painted in Liquid Silver carry the theme through the cabin. The car sits on the 20/21-inch 918 Spyder alloys and has the front axle lift system. Other options include the Glare Reducing Interior Package, electric passenger seat height adjustment and six-point harnesses, which are listed as not fitted. The whole car is wrapped in paint protection film.

It comes with the full 918 luggage set, including the carbon fibre case. It also has the limited-edition Porsche Design timepiece made for owners, a car cover, and a seat pad for the lightweight bucket seats. The service history is described as impeccable and was carried out at Porsche Reading. The car has now sold.
