The 997 GT2 RS was limited to 500 cars worldwide and remains the most powerful Porsche to be sold with a manual gearbox. Its twin-turbocharged 3.6-litre Mezger flat-six drives only the rear wheels, and the page quotes 620 bhp and a 0-62mph time of 3.4 seconds. This car is believed to be one of 24 supplied new to the UK.
The specification is unusual for a GT2 RS. It was ordered in the less common Comfort configuration, with Adaptive Sports Seats and the Club Sport Package deleted, and it has a black exterior with black leather and a White Gold Metallic contrast colour. Ceramic brakes, carbon exterior and interior trim, 19-inch centre-lock wheels and PCM with navigation are also fitted.
The car has since been fitted with Porsche carbon fibre bucket seats, and the original Adaptive Sports Seats are included with the sale, so it can be returned to factory specification. It shows 4,856 miles from new.
