Porsche 918 Spyder

Few hypercars define the modern era as completely as the Porsche 918 Spyder. Limited to 918 examples worldwide, it pairs a naturally aspirated 4.6-litre V8, derived from Porsche's RS Spyder LMP2 programme, with two electric motors, and it proved that hybrid technology could sharpen a car's driver engagement rather than dull it. Alongside the LaFerrari and McLaren P1 it forms the so-called 'Holy Trinity', and its sub-seven-minute Nürburgring Nordschleife lap remains a benchmark for the class.
