Listed today at Autofarm, Wendlebury. Last checked today.
Autofarm's in-house 911 GT build, known internally as "Hitlz", starts from a 1987 G50-gearbox Porsche 911. The shell was media stripped and corrected on a Celette chassis jig to remove corrosion, then dry built to check panel fit before paint.
It is finished in Schiefer Grau, the grey associated with Steve McQueen's 911, with bright anodised trim and chrome detailing. The original 3.2-litre engine has been rebuilt and enlarged to 3.4 litres with high-lift cams, and has covered zero miles since. The conversion uses genuine Porsche steel panels, including a five-piece rear bumper, with Bilstein dampers, G50 torsion bars and 7 and 8 x 15-inch Fuchs wheels on period-style Pirelli CN36 tyres.
This is a project slot rather than a finished car, so the buyer can still shape parts of the specification. The planned interior is 1970s-inspired, in Monarch Red and Basalt Black leather with retromod bucket seats, rear seats retained, a deep-dish 380mm wheel and a Porsche PCCM unit with Apple CarPlay. Price is on application.
