2024 Porsche 718 Spyder RS
£144,950
About this car
Porsche's 718 Spyder RS is the open-top answer to the Cayman GT4 RS, and it carries the same 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six from the 911 GT3, producing 493 bhp and 332 ft-lb. Porsche quotes 0-62 mph in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 196 mph. It marks the end of the petrol-powered 718 line, and the manually operated fabric roof keeps the car light and mechanical.
This 2024 example is a one-owner, UK-supplied car that has covered 3,390 miles. It is finished in Paint to Sample Viola Metallic, a rare and distinctive choice, set against a Black Race-Tex and leather interior with Racing Yellow seat belts, door pull loops and white instrument dials. The Weissach Package (£9,309) adds extensive carbon detailing, and the bonnet is a partially painted carbon-weave unit. Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (£6,156) and the Front Axle Lift System (£2,018) are fitted, along with the Chrono Package, 20-inch GT4 RS-style forged wheels in silver, illuminated carbon sill guards and a BOSE sound system.
Full paint protection film has been applied, and Porsche's extended manufacturer's warranty runs until April 2029. With a PTS colour, the Weissach Package, ceramic brakes and the lift system all on one car, this is one of the most comprehensively specified Spyder RS examples you are likely to find. The Spyder RS is also generally regarded as the more approachable of the two GT-derived 718s, with a softer chassis calibration than the GT4 RS.
