Porsche 356 C

This 1964 Porsche 356C is a left-hand-drive T6 coupe, restored by Lux Classics as an outlaw-style build to a design brief from David Gandy. The twin-grille T6 body has been stripped of some chrome and fitted with shortened, closer-fitting bumpers. It sits lower than standard on hand-made 15-inch single knock-off wheels, which keep the disc brakes, and it wears modern radial Dunlop tyres.

The car had a full bare-metal, component-off restoration and mechanical rebuild. The engine has been taken out to a 1,720 cc big-bore kit with an uprated camshaft and a sports exhaust, and the electrics are now 12-volt. It was originally finished in Light Ivory, according to the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, and is now painted a modern interpretation of Bali Blue. Inside are tan leather and period pepita cloth inserts, square-weave carpets and a wooden wheel and gear knob. A five-piece set of bespoke luggage goes with it.

The paperwork includes full restoration documentation, invoices and photographs, the Certificate of Authenticity showing the car was sold new through a US Porsche centre, and service invoices from 1980 to 2015. The page quotes 200 delivery miles since the rebuild. The price is on application, and the car is offered on consignment on behalf of its owner.
