This Mini Cooper was first registered on 9 June 1965 and collected from Longbridge by its first and only owner, through Wadhams Holdings of Chichester. The Cooper was the performance version of Issigonis's Mini, with a larger engine, twin SU carburettors, a close-ratio gearbox and front disc brakes.
The owner changed the car from Tweed Grey to Opalescent Blue and added a number of Radford upgrades. These include interior trim, flared wheel arches and a badge bar with spotlights. It still runs on its original Cosmic alloy wheels, which are rare. The page describes it as matching numbers and unrestored.
It shows 41,399 miles and has been dry stored for the past 33 years. A history file comes with it, containing the current V5, the original sales invoice from Wadhams, previous MOT certificates and assorted invoices.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (BMC published engine data for the 998cc A-series Cooper (55 bhp gross at 5,800 rpm). Weight, top speed and acceleration figures for this period come from press road tests, not BMC, so they are left null.).
£39,950 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
