MG TF 1250

The MG TF was the last of the T-series sports cars, and the 1250 is the original 1.25-litre version that preceded the larger 1500. This 1954 example, registered 480 YUG, is a nicely aged restoration that has been used mainly for club events and rallies rather than everyday driving.

The page says it has covered about 2,500 miles in the past twelve years, with the odometer reading 63,900. Between 2016 and 2017 the engine was rebuilt with new pistons, main and conrod bearings, oil seals, a rebuilt oil pump and a top-end overhaul. The car also received a new clutch kit, water pump, distributor, rebuilt SU carburettors and five new tyres.

It passed an MOT with no advisories in early 2020 and was serviced, with a rebuilt dynamo fitted. Invoices for 2020 to 2022 total £1,500. A four-speed manual gearbox is fitted, and the car comes with its hood and sidescreens. The dealer sells it as seen, given its age.
