This is not a standard MG TD but a one-off special built on chassis TD25816. Its hand-formed aluminium boattail bodywork takes its cue from Miles Collier's MG racer "Leonidas", which ran at Le Mans in 1939.
Under the skin is a four-cylinder MG engine with a period supercharger, paired with an upgraded five-speed manual gearbox. The car is left-hand drive and has been a two-time California Mille participant.
The detailing follows the pre-war racing theme: polished aluminium cycle wings, a Brooklands windscreen, Marchal headlamps and a quick-fill fuel cap. The cabin has a Bluemels Brooklands steering wheel and an engine-turned dash with Smiths and Jaeger instruments. It runs on chrome knock-off wire wheels with Dunlop racing tyres and Alfin drum brakes. The page says it has covered only a few hundred miles since the build, which was done without cost limits. No registration is shown, and the page marks the car as "Accepted".
