The MGA replaced the ageing T-series in 1955 and sold largely to American buyers. This 1959 Mk1 roadster was one of them, spending its first 60 years in the United States before returning to the UK.
It has recently been restored in Chariot Red. The work includes a rebuilt engine converted to run on unleaded fuel, a rebuilt gearbox and a rust-free chassis. A full hood and weather equipment are included.
The dealer describes the mileage since the restoration as running-in only. A history file with restoration photographs accompanies the car. It is sold inspected and serviced, with a 12-month warranty.
