The SLR McLaren 722 was the sharpened version of the Mercedes-Benz and McLaren supercar, named after the number carried by Stirling Moss and Denis Jenkinson's 300 SLR in the 1955 Mille Miglia. It brought an uprated 5.4-litre supercharged AMG V8 with 640 bhp, along with revised suspension and brakes and a reduction in weight.
This coupe was the official Mercedes-Benz McLaren show car in European specification. It is a left-hand-drive car finished in metallic grey, with a black leather and Alcantara interior with red stitching. The page gives 9,700 km (under 6,100 miles) from new, and says the car has had one owner besides Daimler-Benz.
It has a full Mercedes-Benz service history, the latest service completed about a year ago. Options include the carbon interior, 19-inch brake system, XL driver and passenger seats and a garage door opener. The car is VAT qualifying, and the dealer notes it can be imported to the US as a show and display vehicle.
