The SLR McLaren was a joint Mercedes-Benz and McLaren project, conceived as a modern echo of the 1950s 300 SLR. It uses a carbon-fibre monocoque and a hand-built, supercharged 5.4-litre AMG V8 mounted behind the front axle, driving the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic with paddle shift.
This left-hand-drive 2006 car has covered just 4,035 miles, which is very low for an SLR. It is finished in Crystal Laurite Silver Metallic over Classic 300 SL Red "Silver Arrow" leather, a colour pairing that nods to the Mercedes racing heritage. Carbon-fibre bucket seats are fitted.
Listed equipment includes 19-inch asymmetric turbine wheels, a £7,000 option when new, silver brake calipers behind them, and a Bose sound system. Paint protection film covers the whole car. The page gives no registration or ownership history.
