Mercedes-Benz SL SL500

This is a 1999 R129 SL500, from the last phase of the generation when the SL500 used the M113 V8 with a five-speed automatic gearbox. It is a well-regarded combination for relaxed, long-distance open-top driving.

The car is finished in Brilliant Silver over black leather and has a panoramic glass hardtop alongside the electric soft top. Other equipment includes electric memory seats, an electric steering column, folding mirrors, climate control and a half-wood steering wheel. New AMG-style alloy wheels have been fitted.

It has covered 54,000 miles and has had four previous keepers. The history file contains bills and receipts, and a service was carried out in 2025 with few miles since. The dealer reports that the interior shows no signs of wear and that all functions work, including the roof.
