This is an R129-generation Mercedes-Benz 300 SL in the 24-valve form, which brought a twin-cam six-cylinder engine with noticeably more power and torque than the earlier single-cam 300 SL. It is a well-built, usable open Mercedes from the early 1990s and is priced as an affordable modern classic.
The car is finished in Brilliant Silver with a black soft top and black leather. It comes with its original hardtop and stand, a Blaupunkt stereo, all handbooks and both keys. It shows 96,000 miles.
The seller bought it in 2022 and says it has been kept in heated storage on a trickle charger since. It will be sold with a fresh MOT and service.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Mercedes-Benz factory data for the R129 300 SL-24 (M104, 231 PS, 240 km/h). Only 0-100 km/h was published, so 0-60 is null. Kerb weight is null because I'm not sure of the published figure.).
£12,950 since it was listed on 6 November 2026. No changes yet.
