The W180 220S, known as the Ponton for its slab-sided body, was Mercedes-Benz's step into post-war modernity. This 1959 example is a manual car, which is the original specification for the model, and is petrol-powered.
The odometer shows 26,003 miles, which is a low figure for a car of this age. It is not yet in the showroom proper: the dealer lists it as coming soon, with the exterior colour still to be confirmed.
When it is released, the dealer says it will come with its own certification, a 24-month warranty, a workshop inspection report and a service and MoT as required. As a pre-1973 car it is exempt from ULEZ charges. The price is on application.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Mercedes-Benz Classic factory data for the W180 II 220 S saloon after August 1957: 106 PS (105 bhp), 160 km/h top speed. Weight and 0-60 mph left null because I'm not confident of the published figures.).
