Listed today at Legends Automotive, Farmington. Last checked today.
The March 73A was the company's Formula 5000 car for the 1973 season, built for the era of big American V8 power in lightweight single-seaters. This example, chassis 73A/5, was built for Clive Baker and raced in the UK through 1974.
It runs a rebuilt Chevrolet V8 with new heads, valves and springs, and a rolling road dyno graph is on file. The Hewland FG400 gearbox has been rebuilt and has low hours since, and the injection system has been fully refurbished by Kinsler in the USA.
The car is described as a front-running machine in HSCC competition, with documented ownership and known history on file. A spares package is available on request.
