The March 712M was the marque's Formula 2 car for 1971, and this example has a full period and historic racing record. Mike Beuttler campaigned it in the 1971 European Formula 2 championship, and it then crossed to the USA for the 1972 Formula B series.
It came back to the UK about ten years later. Alain Filhol raced it in 1989 and Freddy Kumschick in 1991. The selling dealer bought it in 1992, and Rick Hall raced it at the front of the HSCC F2 championship until he swapped it for a Lotus 69 in 1994. It then moved to Germany, where it stayed for around 25 years.
Power comes from a 1600cc Ford-based BDA built by Geoff Richardson, described as low mileage. A comprehensive spares package is included. It is offered as an entry point to historic Formula 2 racing.
