YOB 575 is chassis BHL120, the last Lister 'Knobbly' completed in the 1958 production run. It was supplied in kit form to Peter Mould and engineer Mario Deliotti, who assembled it themselves and stamped the frame with the number 5944. It is widely regarded as the most original surviving Jaguar-engined Knobbly, with its original chassis and aluminium bodywork and the original buff logbook.
Its first season, 1959, was a busy one. Period records show 32 awards from 39 starts under Mould, including an outright win at Silverstone in October 1959. The following year Mould took fifth overall and a class win in the British Grand Prix support race, ahead of other Listers, an Aston Martin DBR2 and D-type Jaguars. Later owners include John Pearson, Stephen Bulling, Nigel Corner and Dr Julio Palmaz. The car was repainted red in the late 1970s and has since returned to its original green with yellow nose flashes.
It has been maintained rather than restored. Pearsons Engineering rebuilt the 3.8-litre engine and gearbox over the winter of 2024, and the car has FIA HTPs valid to December 2026. An extensive history file accompanies it. The price is on application, and no mileage is stated.
