This is an 80-inch Land Rover Series I, the original short-wheelbase form of the model that later grew into the Defender. The page gives both 1950 and 1951 as the date; it was imported to Denmark in crates on 1 January 1951 and assembled locally, then sold in February that year.
The car has a documented file and several Danish owners, one of them a leading collection in that country. It was found in 1995 on a farm in Farum, Zealand, reportedly still doing the school run. Between 1995 and 2008 it was fully dismantled and restored in stages, but the engine and gearbox were kept original. The 1,595cc four-cylinder petrol engine is said to make around 50 to 55 bhp, and the car is described as matching numbers.
It is finished in green with a green interior, is left-hand drive and remains Danish registered. The page shows 10,000 miles. No price is given.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Rover Company published engine data for the 1.6-litre (1595cc) petrol four, 50 bhp. Weight, top speed and acceleration are left blank because no confirmed factory figures are available.).
