The 50 Edition was Land Rover's 1998 special to mark the marque's half-century, and it came with the 4.0-litre V8, air conditioning and a four-speed automatic as standard. This 90 has covered 25,900 miles and has had four owners, one of whom kept it in a private collection from 2011.
It has since been restored by marque specialists and converted to soft-top form, using new parts and a new black hood, in the style of the North American-market Defender built at the same time. It has been repainted in the period colour Beluga Black.
Extras include 18-inch Sawtooth alloy wheels with BF Goodrich All-Terrain tyres, a Heritage grille, folding side steps, the NAS-style rear bumper and rear step, mud flaps and new floor coverings. The page shows no price and the car is marked as sale agreed.
