This is a right-hand-drive Countach 5000 QV, the 'Downdraught' car with four-valve heads and six Weber 44DCNF carburettors, and the most powerful of the original Countachs at 455 bhp. Fewer than 300 were built with the carburettor set-up, as US cars received fuel injection.
The first owner ordered it through Portman in London in 1985 in Rosso Siviglia. He asked for leather of his own choosing and an extra boot lid, so the car came with both a wingless lid and one carrying the rear wing. Both remain with it. He also visited the factory to see it on the line.
The page quotes fewer than 4,300 miles (about 6,900 km), backed by a run of MoT readings from 1992 onwards. It has had three keepers. Work in 2014 included engine-out servicing, carburettor, starter and alternator overhauls, a front suspension rebuild, a new clutch and tyres. Lamborghini Manchester serviced it in 2017. The car retains its handbooks, Alpine hi-fi manual, toolkit, jack and unused space-saver spare.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Lamborghini factory figures for European carburetted 5000 QV (455 PS, 295 km/h); only a 0-100 km/h time and a dry weight were published, so 0-60 and kerb weight are null).
