Jensen FF MkII

The Jensen FF was among the most technically advanced grand tourers of its day, combining Ferguson Formula four-wheel drive with Dunlop Maxaret anti-lock brakes. Only 107 MkII cars were built, with the 6.3-litre V8, and this one is a genuine factory demonstrator, first registered on 1 May 1971 to Jensen Motors in West Bromwich. Jensen paperwork shows it was loaned to several dealers before being invoiced to a Wolverhampton dealer in January 1972.

It is finished in its original Metallic Quartz, following a full repaint and bodywork repairs that included new rear wheel arch sections and a front valance. The page describes a long record of work: brake, suspension and steering overhauls, a rebuilt air-conditioning system, rewiring, electronic ignition and new cooling components. The upholstery is largely original, and the car has a correct set of reconditioned wheels and a genuine MkII handbook.

The odometer reads about 85,000 miles. The most recent owner, in Scotland, covered roughly 3,000 miles over four years.
