The XK150 was the last of Jaguar's line of XK sports cars before the E-Type, and this right-hand-drive fixed-head coupe is one of only 1,368 built to that specification. It carries the factory Special Equipment pack, which added a tuned B-type cylinder head, twin exhausts, wire wheels and front fog lamps. It also has the desirable overdrive gearbox.
The car was supplied new by Hoffmann's of Halifax to an S. Dugdale of Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire, in March 1958. It still wears its original colour combination of Pearl Grey with a Pastel Blue hide interior. It has had four keepers from new and wears the registration JJX 77.
An extensive restoration was carried out in the mid-1990s, with further work in 2008. The paperwork includes a JDHT Heritage Certificate, a history file and the V5C. The dealer's text mentions 38,400 miles as the recorded total, but the page's specification lists 58,000 miles, so buyers should check which figure is correct.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar's published 3.4 S rating (250 bhp gross, triple SU carbs, 3442cc). Weight and performance figures withheld because Jaguar's own numbers for this variant couldn't be confirmed. The S launched in 1958 as a roadster; S fixed-head coupes generally date from 1959.).
