Jaguar XK150 3.4 Litre FHC

This right-hand-drive XK150 fixed head coupe left the Coventry line in November 1958 and was first registered in January 1959 to a Mr Brian Cox. It stayed with him and then his son until 2011, which is a rare unbroken family ownership for a car of this age. It is finished in Indigo Blue over a red interior of Connolly hide and original-style rexine.

Mr Cox had the car restored about 16 years before the listing was written, but he fell ill and never drove it. The specialists Fender & Broad later bought it as a matching-numbers car and prepared it for regular road use. The 3.4-litre engine has been rebuilt with new components as needed, and Guy Broad has tuned and uprated it. Changes include electronic ignition, an uprated radiator and an overflow header tank. The page states 500 miles of running-in since the rebuild and 2,503 miles since restoration.

Other changes are a five-speed Cosworth MT75 manual gearbox, a new balanced propshaft, a rebuilt rear axle and four-pot front brake callipers.
