This E-Type is a Series II 4.2 fixed head coupe, built on 8th July 1969 in left-hand drive and supplied new through British Leyland New York. The 4.2-litre XK six was good for 265bhp in period, and the Series II brought the later refinements that made the E-Type easier to live with without dulling its looks.
It stayed in the USA until 1995, when it returned to the UK. The current owner has carried out a restoration that included removing the engine and gearbox, stripping the body and respraying it in Opalescent Blue metallic. The engine, gearbox and suspension were rebuilt, the braking system overhauled and the interior re-trimmed in red leather.
It comes with a current V5 and a history file containing numerous invoices and a heritage certificate. Viewing is by appointment only.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar's period factory figure of 265 bhp (gross, UK twin-SU spec) and 4235cc XK straight-six. Weight, top speed and 0-60 are left out because the body style isn't given and the period figures come from road tests, not Jaguar.).
