Listed today at The Classic Motor Hub, Bibury. Last checked today.
The Series 3 was the last and most relaxed E-Type, built around Jaguar's 5.3-litre V12 and offered with power steering as standard. This 2+2 fixed-head coupe has the longer wheelbase, which gives it more cabin room and a usable rear tailgate, and it is fitted with the automatic gearbox, making it a grand tourer rather than a hard-edged sports car.
It was built on 17 December 1971 and dispatched new in January 1972 through J.R.J. Mansbridge of Lincoln. It is right-hand drive, keeps its matching-numbers engine and is finished in its original combination of Pale Primrose Yellow over black trim. A Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Production Record Trace Certificate confirms the specification.
The car has been restored, with invoices and photographs documenting the work. The engine was fully rebuilt in 2021 and the ignition system upgraded at the same time. The page does not give a mileage or registration.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar's 1971 launch specification for the 5.3 V12 (272 bhp is a gross figure). Weight, top speed and 0-60 left null because the well-known numbers come from magazine road tests, not Jaguar.).
£59,900 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
