This is a 1965 Jaguar E-Type 4.2 Fixed Head Coupe that has covered only 10,600 miles from new and is described as wholly unrestored. It is a right-hand-drive car finished in Opalescent Pale Blue Metallic with a beige leather interior, a combination that suits the E-Type's long-bonnet shape.
It was supplied new in February 1966 through Archibald's Garage, the authorised Jaguar distributor in Christchurch, New Zealand, to its first owner, Mr D. G. Owen. Use has been sparing since, and the car is said to have stayed in original condition throughout.
The documentation is unusually complete. It includes the original 1966 registration certificate, handbook wallet, operating and service handbook with factory amendments, maintenance voucher book, warranty certificate, factory tuning and preparation book, and the complete tool roll and jack. The dealer bought it as a reference-standard example for preservation-class concours events.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar factory figures for the Series 1 4.2 XK engine (265 bhp gross, 4235 cc). Performance and weight left null because the widely quoted numbers come from period road tests, not confirmed factory data.).
£149,995 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
